New Blog, and an Introduction

Well here we are, my first Blog post; you'd expect me to have something interesting to say, but no. I'm Dan, as you may have guessed, I'm 17 years old and about to start my second year of A levels at Campsmount Technology College. Speaking of which, my mother is an art teacher and my father a retired physics/biology teacher; although not at any school I've been to (Thank God).

My A level courses are:
Biology,
General Studies,
Film Studies,
ICT.
I did do History and Physics, but I was kicked out of one and dropped the other.

I have an interest in many different things; incuding railways, PC gaming and Star Trek. Of course there is more, but that will come in due course... I like many different PC games, I'm not so fond of console games though. Some personal favourites include Halo, Team Fortress 2, Battlefield Heroes and Left 4 Dead. I have a deep love of nature and the countryside, so I often go for long walks by myself in the middle of no-where. Although soon I'll be able to drive (I hope).

I'm currently in a relationship with a girl who lives about a hundred miles away from me. So not as bad as for some people... At the moment I live in a small village called Little Smeaton, behind my house is one of the old stations of the former Hull & Barnsley Railway, hence my interest in railways.
